Certifications and Experience:
I grew up in a family of many rescue dogs, usually adopting the troubled cases from the shelter. I learned to handle and train dogs from a young age. My childhood dogs had multiple homes before us and I was always determined to create a loving forever home for them -- and we did. This sparked my passion for training troubled dogs for the rest of my life.
I grew up as a military dependent - both of my parents serving in the Army. It became very clear to me that animal therapy was both beneficial to the veterans in our family as well as the family members themselves. I spent my spare time volunteering in our local shelters with troubled cases both training and fostering the dogs that came through. This sparked my interest in training service dogs for veterans and their family members with PTSD.
My true muse was my first Siberian Husky, Lu. He was nearly feral when I rescued him. I was his 4th home. Over a years time I trained him to be a Service Dog, and after he retired I trained my own rescue Service Dog Lili. Lili, although retired still serves as my assistant at many lessons. I also have three other dogs and two cats.
I truly believe every dog deserves a chance to be their best. I do it all "for the love of dog." There isn't anything as rewarding as the unconditional love of a dog in this world.
In 2024 I official began the non profit, For the Love of Dog AZ to support small shelters in the local area, and assist as a behavioral and training team for their dogs that needed a second chance at a forever home through proper training and socialization. We’ve successfully placed over a dozen dogs!

I originally wasn’t sure what I wanted to be after High School, and bounced around colleges. Fortunately, I bumped into a family friend who had just became a dog trainer themselves and pointed me toward ABC’s program. Within 24 hours I was enrolled and haven’t looked back! I knew I had found my passion the moment I began putting what I learned into practice. After graduating, I spent 5 years helping hundreds of dogs settle into their forever homes all across Long Island New York.
Since moving to Arizona, I am excited to continue helping more dogs and their owners on their training journeys! I thoroughly enjoy strengthening the bond between people and their furry companions! There is no greater feeling than helping people understand their dogs and helping them succeed!

Hi! I’m Angie, but everyone calls me Ang. I grew up on a farm in Dodge City, Kansas, surrounded by animals —including plenty of Australian Shepherds. That’s where I
first discovered just how intelligent and intuitive dogs can be. But it wasn’t until I raised my own pups at age 15 - an Aussie mix and a Siberian Husky - that I truly experienced the deep, unbreakable bond that can form between humans and dogs through clear communication and
mutual respect.
I began my dog training journey over 20 years ago by training and becoming certified through
a big box retail store that followed the Karen Pryor Method. Having taken some time away from
training, I have now returned with new knowledge and a continued passion for training. I am now proudly certified through Animal Behavior College (March 2025) and thrilled to be a part of the amazing team at See Ash Go.
I enjoy clicker training, and I love using it to help dogs and their humans build trust, confidence, and a language they can both understand. My approach is rooted in positive
reinforcement, patience, fun, and an understanding that every dog is unique.
In my spare time, I am the lucky paw-rent to a 16 year-old Chiweenie, a 12 year-old Great Pyrenees, a 1-year old Border Collie mix, and three cats. My friends affectionately call my home the “Cuddle Ranch.” It’s a full house, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I also enjoy
volunteering and assisting with training shelter pets. I love seeing the progress from their first sessions through finding a loving home.
Whether you’re working on basic manners, or deepening your bond with your pup, I’m here to guide, support, and celebrate the journey with you.
